Tecnobosque · Operational information gateway
Recent Fires
A curated route to changing wildfire information—and the starting point for records that may later become permanent Wildfire Black Box cases.
Active-fire information changes quickly. This section is designed to distinguish the immediate operational picture from the slower process of evidence review, reconstruction and permanent archiving.
Open wildfire events worldwide
A navigational view of wildfire events currently listed as open by NASA EONET. Use it to discover changing events, then verify conditions with the responsible authority.
Interpretation boundary: EONET is a curated natural-event catalogue; FIRMS displays satellite-derived active-fire and thermal-anomaly detections. An open event or hotspot is not, by itself, an evacuation warning, final perimeter, confirmed cause or Tecnobosque-verified Black Box record.
Reviewed reference records
These are permanent incident records, not live emergency feeds. Each preserves changing official information, evidence confidence and the limits of the available reconstruction.
Palisades Fire
A developing technical record covering the incident timeline, documented impacts, Santa Ana wind and satellite context, conflicting official structure-loss totals and changing cause information.
Open the Palisades recordEaton Fire
A Reference Grade Wildfire Black Box record covering final impacts, first-night reconstruction, Known At checkpoints, alert-system evidence, investigation scope, evolving cause information and Fire DNA.

Official warnings and evacuation orders
Use the responsible public authority for life-safety decisions, road closures, shelters and evacuation zones. A technical-analysis platform cannot replace local command.
Authoritative incident and satellite services
Agency incident portals and recognized satellite fire products can provide regional context, but observation time, resolution and detection limits always matter.
Developing technical record
After immediate operations, official updates, maps and reports can be preserved as dated evidence rather than treated as one final narrative.

- Incident identification. Confirm the event identity, geography, responsible jurisdictions and canonical official sources.
- Operational capture. Preserve dated updates as changing information rather than prematurely treating them as final facts.
- Source review. Separate primary agency material, direct observations, satellite products, derivative reporting and unsupported claims.
- Incident stabilization. Track containment, revised area, damage assessment and formal investigation products as they mature.
- Archive decision. Select incidents with sufficient evidentiary value, documentation quality or cross-fire analytical importance.
- Permanent record. Assign a stable identity and build the Wildfire Black Box public evidence layer.
Selection criteria for deeper coverage
Can material claims be traced?
Preference is given to incidents with retrievable official updates, maps, observations or investigation documents.
Does the case test an important question?
Examples include changing cause information, conflicting official totals, evacuation timing, WUI transition or multi-fire scope.
Can the lessons travel?
Cases should help examine recurring wildfire mechanisms without erasing geographic, regulatory or ecological differences.
Can the record be maintained responsibly?
A permanent page should not be created unless evidence, uncertainty and material revisions can be managed over time.
From changing update to permanent record
Operational phase
Fast, incomplete and changing
Area, containment, impacts and cause may change repeatedly. Values remain attached to their publication time and source version.
Permanent phase
Reviewed, versioned and citable
The final record preserves both the current assessment and the evolution of documented knowledge.
Permanent wildfire intelligence
When the emergency ends, the evidence should not disappear
Explore reviewed wildfire records, compare evidence across incidents and see how changing operational information becomes permanent, citable wildfire intelligence.
