The Antelope Fire south of Tennant was not the Highway 46 fire
The 2021 footprint of 145,632 acres was about sixty times the later fire’s 2,410 acres. Mixing their records would misplace both a large northern forest fire and a much smaller transport-corridor incident. Year and location together resolve the ambiguity.
